After acquiring a few of Inter-State's existing accounts, Mary Jo Burke immediately started using the Marketing support that is offered to our franchises, and maximized her sales efforts by working with our Telemarketing team. Mary Jo worked closely with her assigned Telemarketing Representative to develop a sales plan. Together, they identified the areas of her protected territory where she wanted to grow her business, and got to work. Mary Jo added over 20 new accounts before starting her Fall Picture season!

I am overjoyed to be a part of the Inter-State franchise team! For the past four years, I have worked under the Inter-State umbrella. I have learned and grown so much under the guidance of everyone with Inter-State. I truly
fell in love with this business. You can't complain
when your job is to make kids smile every day, right?
I chose to franchise with Inter-State because not only
do I love the job, but I am also a mom of two beautiful
little girls. As such, I want my girls to know they can be whatever they want to be, and what better way
to demonstrate that than to pursue my own dreams?
I previously worked for an Inter-State territory
for the last few years and fell in love with working
with the students and capturing their smiles on Picture Day.
When a coworker mentioned the company was opening franchise territories, I was extremely interested in
finding out more. I was looking to invest in myself
and transition to a business owner, so it was a “no-brainer” to franchise with Inter-State and continue doing the work
I enjoyed, while working alongside Inter-State.
I've been in the School Picture industry for 15 years, the majority of which I've spent working in various roles on the retail side of Inter-State. I was very interested when the Franchise model was announced a few years ago. I recognized this as a new opportunity to turn my business experience and passion into something I could own and grow. I'm overjoyed that my initial thoughts have now become a reality, with the opportunity to run a franchise territory. The support provided by Inter-State and their amazing team made this decision easy, as I am confident they will do everything possible to help me be successful. I’m very thankful to Inter-State for the opportunity and can’t wait to get started!
