HISTORY

When my father, Guy Snyder, founded Inter-State Studio and Publishing Co., the concept was simple: take great photos of students for their school and parents. For several generations, families have sat together and shared those precious moments of school experiences when they were school-age students, long before they became parents and grandparents.

Traditions have to evolve to stay relevant. Through the years, we have focused on providing quality photographs and services, as well as outstanding customer service, and have continued to be an innovative industry leader.

 

We have been successful over these many years thanks to the strong foundation our company was built upon by my father and mother. Today, joining my wife, Cindy, and our family is an incredible staff of caring professionals who continue to make Inter-State better and better every year.

 

Today, we are North America’s largest family-owned school photography and yearbook publishing company. With offices in 30 states, we are headquartered in Sedalia, Missouri, and have been proud to call it our home for more than 85 years.
